This is for the old N3Ds xl. I used a USB cable, fixing the positive to the right. I welded 2 pieces of copper on the usb wires and gave them spiral shape, I finished the hot glue so I used the tin welder and the PLA filament to secure the cables.

There is my new 3ds (XL/LL) cradle based on the official one. I've used 2 "spring pin" that was on an old wireless home phone and an USB wire. There's 2 model, one without a case and one that fit an Hori Duraflexi Case.
