Instead of using screws, I decided to remix the thing and use some M3 bolts and nuts.

I tweaked the bolt hole to accept an m3 bolt. ...I just didn't want to have to replace the existing t-nut that the cobblebot uses for endstops.

I modified the desk stand and short arm to work with M3 bolts and nuts. ...I haven't found the time for the rest yet, but I'm uploading these if they help anyone.
