<p>How do I explain this thing...? RC tires, such as the ones I bought from Aliexpress for my 3DSets.com Rancher, have a bead design that is supposed to be pinched between the rim (the outer lip) of the wheel and an insert that goes inside the tire. There's probably a word for this inside piece - leave me a message if you know what it is...I'm an RC noob. When the two halves of your wheel are assembled, the bead of the tire should tuck inside the insert and the rim squeezes against the insert to keep the tire from spinning on the wheel.</p> <p>The 3DSets wheel design is very nice, but lacks this feature. And it's very easy to add. This tire insert that I created is designed for wheels with 26 mm (1") between the rim on the front and back, measured from inside to inside.</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting supports"><strong>Supports: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>15%</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong></p> Any PLA Post-Printing ============= <p>Place it inside your 1.9" tire. The bead should cover the edge of the part and the lip (and L-shaped part of the bead) goes to the inside of the liner. When the wheel is inserted, this L-shaped bead will be between the barrel of the wheel and the liner.</p> <p>Spray the bead of the tire with a weak solution of water and detergent (any spray general purpose cleaner works well for this - same deal as doing motorcycle tires, if you've ever had a bike). Carefully slide the outer half of the wheel into the tire, taking care not to pinch the rubber and tear it. Press the wheel all the way into the insert and make sure your bead looks even. Repeat the process for the back half. If your wheel design uses bead locks, install them.
