1/10 RC wheel hub adapter hex 12mm to geared motor 4mm shaft

This is a 12mm hex hub adapter for 1/10 RC wheels and geared motor with 4mm shaft. My wheels are with 4.9mm deep hex interface. Therefore I designed my own adapter. The motor shaft hole is a bit too tight, designed on purpose this way. You can heat up the plastic with heat gun and push the motor shaft in to fit very tight, or exactly as we like to say. There is a small hole to screw the adapter to the motor shaft and another axial hole to screw the wheel to the adapter. Motor shaft part is 6.3mm long and hex 16mm in diameter. It provides a solid back to the wheel and a robust interface to the motor shaft. The shaft is 10.5mm long so there are a few mm not covered by the adapter, but I decided that 6mm are enough. My printer is over-extruding a bit, so the part is designed with this in mind. If yours is well calibrated than you may want to re-size it with a few %. Print one part and resize for the rest. Uploaded are the part stl and x6 stl for easy printing. Printed from PLA, 5 layers for the perimeters, 50% infill, use brim at least 3mm to hold it on place. I set the extrusion multiplier to 1.05 for better layer adhesion. I plan to use those for the martian rover.
