1/10 Scale RC Ford Bronco Truck Mirror

I wanted the TRX-4 Bronco but decided to be cheap and bought the chassis. WELL, you get to assemble the whole thing without a body and still need a body that costs at least $50 while saving less than $100. Either way I built it myself AND wanted some Bronco realistic parts. SO I made this mirror which is the driver side but mirror the mirror :D on the X axis and you have a passenger mirror too! Update!!! 2018-07-21 - I've now added the "realistic" file set. So you can still use the originals I made but the scale is off. The realistic set is realistic scale whereas the original files were just relative concepts that looked about right. Personally I prefer the smaller non-scale mirrors cuz they have less chance of impact on roll over BUT for the scalers, here ya go! ############################################################## Printing flat with the mirror side facing down I think is best for strength but horrible for looks and requires some post clean up with sand paper and/or ABS juice for smoothing. Printing vertical will yield a nicer print but less strength due to print layers. Using ABS juice should make it stronger but will not compete with laying it flat. SO Detail or strength, that is the question :) The fitment you see is on a Proline 1981 Bronco body. To mount, I'll be using hot glue for a lil flex for roll overs and it's not invasive. If I lose or break a mirror, adding a new one is just a hot glue gun tip away too i.e. no evil stuff like JB Weld to scrape off and ruin your paint job. I was originally gonna ABS glue it but decided that may ruin the paint and will not be fun replacing when I break it using the acetone ABS glue/juice mixture but using this stuff on my true full size Bronco is magic with old ABS parts like hood cable pins to body mounts :) You can also heat/melt the pins once popped through and they should flex but will be loose depending on your hole size. I made these 3mm pins. Honestly I still like Hot Glue the best :) Update!!! Both mirrors have gone through almost 10 roll overs and I finally broke one. Not bad and better than IRL/stock :)
