This is a modified version of manifold_destiny's M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman tank, as originally made by m_bergman in his awesome 1:100 Tanks pack. The tracks are almost identical to m_d's - I figured I'd add some teeth since the print orientation allows for finer detail, and I also repaired the file so that it no longer prints with strange missing edges of the track. The turret has been reworked quite a bit to look as close to WWII-era photos and model kits as possible; I also fixed some of the internal structure so that it no longer prints with some internal gaps (which happened to me, at least). I also reduced the width of the cylinder that fits into the chassis a little bit to make it a little easier to paint without causing the turret to no longer fit. The body has almost no changes, and comes in two varieties: the first has a repaired chain/hook-loop on the front hull (a chunk of the model was missing) as well as additional grooves for side-plate weld marks, while the second was an attempt at making weld marks actually look like weld marks. :) there's issues with the latter model, some bad polys and other issues make it look kinda ugly but it still seems to print okay. In either case I'm providing both models and will upload a new, "welded version" should I get back to this project. (Note: The M2HB .50 cal machinegun on top of the assembled/partly painted model is located here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1447064) Print Settings Printer: Fabrikator Mini v1.5 and Wombot Exilis XL (mostly the Fab Mini) Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm or less (0.15mm is optimal) Infill: 25% or so Notes: Parts require raft and/or supports as you'd expect from their design. The models shown in the photos were all printed at 0.15mm layer height, 0.3mm line width (out of a 0.4mm nozzle), with 5 (or was it 6?) top perimeters, 4 bottom, 3 side, and rafts and supports on both the body and turret (none on the tracks).
