1/144 Gunpla Action Base Redesign

Update 1/18/2023: Made a v2 changes that I believe are improvements to the 1.0 redesign. The base plate is larger to be more stable and less likely to tip over, v2 arms are shorter than v1 to fit the large base plate but you can use the v1 arms with the v2 base plate. **THE SUPPORT INDEX V2 IS MEANT FOR THE V2 ARMS, THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE V1 ARMS** Edit 1/17/2023 : I am currently doing some adjustments to make the action base more accurate to the Action Base 5, it will be called v2 in case anyone wants it. I will post it in the files once I have printed and tested to make sure it meets my expectations! The following adjustments are being made: Larger base plate, more compact index to provide more angles, shortening the arms to not go beyond the base plate dimensions. Infill settings for everything besides the base adapter can be set to 20%, set the base adapter to 100% in case it snaps from being too weak Based on Soozafone's amazing gunpla base: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2702736 There were certain parts of this design that I wanted to tweak and later share. I wanted make it loosely based off of the Action Base 5. The angle adjustment was a little too limited to my liking so I designed the arms to where they are freely swinging using a metal wire as a hinge (you can use a piece of filament too), and I incorporated a little support index piece to adjust your desired angle for your pose. I did this since I love posing my gunpla often and it's a hassle to remove the retaining ring and readjust the arm. You could hypothetically perform any angle by adjusting this part alone and leave everything else fixed in their geared position which is why I kept parts of the original design of soozafone's arms intact. The arms also have 3mm holes if you have any parts you want to attach to it. I also changed the way the base hinge attaches to the base plate by using a peg that firmly inserts itself into the plate. I did this because I want to give it 360 rotation since I have the plates sitting on a tier stand. The base plate comes with 3 other attachment points besides the middle in case you want 2 gunplas to share a base plate. Design of the base plate is based off of this design from Printables: https://www.printables.com/model/321881-xf-action-base/files I edited it to be more of a hex shape. I can't guarantee the pegs will fit in their respective holes without applying a lot of pressure, what I did was I used a nipper/edge cutter and chipped around the insides of the holes for the arms to connect to each other smoothly since it doesn't have to be super tight. The gunpla adapter peg is left openly compatible with soozafone's files so it's compatible with hg, I made custom pegs to fit my rg Nu Gundam and rg Sazabi though the Sazabi is a tiny bit loose.
