Our laser cutter's compressor came with a 1/4 inch snubber as an inlet filter which once clogged with dirt would starve the compressor. After cleaning the snubber a few times I elected to buy a replacement and went for the cheapest I could find on amazon. When they sent me a 1/2 inch snubber despite clearly advertising 1/4 inch I thought to myself this is a much better solution, it'll take far longer to block! Only problem was fitting the two together on a reasonable budget. Without buying multiple adapters to take the 1/2 inch male NPT fitting down to 1/4 inch female NPT on the compressor nor spending loads for a metal fitting (it doesn't even need to be water/airtight) I elected to 3d model and print my own. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 50% Notes: 1mm thick walls and 50% infill for no particular reason.
