So in having a friend print me some of m Bergman's world war one tanks( there awesome! go check them out! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3555618 ) id gotten intrested in what other tanks may have existed, if only in paper form, from world war one. thus i found these....rather goofy Russian tank ideas, and was inspired. the Rybinsk tank, According to the first draft, the tank had a mass of 20 tons, a crew of 4 people and a reservation of 10-12 mm. The layout of the tank was a bit non-standard. In front of the hull, exactly on the central axis, there was a driver. To his right was set machine gun (type not specified, but it could be a 20-mm automatic gun), served by one machine gunner. The engine compartment was located in the middle of the hull, where the 200 hp engine was installed. The stern was equipped with a gun compartment with a 107-mm gun. the Mendeleev tank, was exceptionally well armed for tank design concept at its time. It was slated to have a 120 mm (4.7 in) Canet naval gun with 51 rounds of ammunition, mounted directly at the front of the tank, much larger than the common calibres of tanks in both World War I and World War II. For comparison, the armament of the British Mark IV tank was two 57 mm QF 6-pounder 6 cwt Hotchkiss guns. The gun was able to swivel left and right as well as elevate and depress. In addition, the gun was supposed to feature a recoil system rather than be placed on a fixed rigid mount, a concept very advanced for the time.[2] The Canet gun would be used to provide direct artillery fire against enemy units, making the Mendeleev Tank essentially a mobile artillery platform. The tank was also equipped with a light machine gun installed in a turret that was rotatable as well as being able to be retracted when not in use to lower the silhouette of the vehicle.
