1/25 scale fire truck cab

These are stl files to create a fire truck cab in 1/25 scale model. This unit is based on Fremont, OH's 1999 Pierce Saber pumper, so this might not fit your build needs. I have designed this 3d model to reflect how I will finish it. Cab drip rails can be fabricated from 0.5 mm by 1.0 mm strip styrene. Plastruct diamond plate should be used to fill in the back wall, under the doors, and the top of the front bumper. You will need to fabricate your own chassis, the AMT/Round 2 Ford L8000 is a good starting point. I have included two full-size versions of the cab, one with window trim and one without. These should be printable on any FDM printer, but you would need a large format resin printer to print this cab in one piece (80.332 mm height, 96.692 mm width, 125.57 mm). The cab is also presented as structural wall files, like an Italeri truck kit, so that it can be print in multiple pieces. Cab exterior trim pieces are provided, except for rectangular locks, please use Don Mills rectangular locks. Resin printing of the marker lights and mirrors will probably be required. The interior is presented as a full, one-piece interior tube. The interior has also been broken apart into multiple pieces to facilitate easier printing with minimal supports on FDM printers. Driver/officer seat and SCBA seats (with and without bracket) are included. Front bumper is a short bumper with 2 air horns and siren speaker. I printed these parts on an Ender 3 with Inland PLA+ at 210°C, 50°C bed (glass bed), 0.4 mm nozzle at 25 mm/s speed, 20% infill. I used supports everywhere and printed the cab with the roof on the bed. I needed a brim to prevent the corners from lifting.
