Hello! This is an improved version of the reduction gear set I uploaded before: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2986485 The improvements in comparison: * I used 3mm-high gears instead of 5mm (for large ones), and 7mm-high gears instead of 10mm for small ones. This gave me the space to add more layers in the same height. * I used better support for the metal rods, so they don't keep moving (it was too tight in this final version, I had to use a hammer to push the structure on the rod, which broke the top structure as you can see in the video/picture). * I used snap-on lego-like design so that the layers can be installed on the each other without glue (worked for the right part of the structure, did not work for the motor box part). You can see the gear set working video here: https://youtu.be/YVHOVN4OEyU Some after-thoughts: * I think the thickness I use when I design maye be lower than my 3D printer can handle (MonoPrice Select Mini v2). I design a 2mm-high layer and a 2mm-high gap on the box, and I would like to snap the layer into the gap, but it does not work directly. I have to correct the layer with the cutter, and work on the gap with metal tools after printing. I should think of tolerance in my next designs. * I should learn better how distant to keep the gears from each other. In this design as well, I ended up using one-teeth-larger (RushGears__1113-0218) gear than the one in the design, because after some time the distance between the motor-gear and the transfer gear were creating problems (getting stuck or free-wheeling).
