I'm working on a some small project now and needed few knobs of different sizes for 1/4 20 nut (it is about 11mm from side to side / 5.6mm deep). Here are few variants that I made. If fit is too tight I usually preheat nut on a lighter and just push it in. You can also increase size to 101-103%
