1/4-20 Protective Thread Cap for Camera Tripods and Light Stands

This is for all you photographers out there. This is a protective cap to put on light stands and tripods to prevent the tripod screw (1/4-20) from being damaged in transit. I kept losing these little caps when I bought light stands and couldn't find anywhere to purchase them so I designed and printed my own. The part has the 1/4-20 thread already designed into the bottom and the thread depth is approximatle 5/16" (8mm) deep. Depending on the accuracy of your printer (and shrinkage) you may need to clean up the threads a little but I have found them to work fine after the first time I screw them onto a bolt.
