1/4" Hex Bit Wrench -- Nozzle Wrench

1/4" Hex Bit Wrench -- Nozzle Wrench

thingiverse

This is a simple knob that holds a 1/4" hex bit very solidly. It was designed to be a nozzle-wrench for my Creality CR-10S/Ender 3 type printers, but it can be used with any type of hex bit. There is no ratchet, the bit is solidly set into the handle. In fact this was designed because when seating a nozzle, you often needs switch between CW/CCW fairly quickly and switching directions on the ratchet finger wrenches is a pain. You must press-fit the hex bit into the knob with a vise, arbor press or hammer. You can use [1/4" hex to 1/4" drive bits like this](https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Impact-Adapter-Converter-Vanadium/dp/B0925DDM29) or the longer type if you don't mind the hex sticking out of the back. Any other type of 1/4" hex bit would work as well. You may need to adjust the scale slightly in order to get a good press fit. I printed at 100% infill and used a 1.3x line width (0.8mm line width using a 0.6mm nozzle) in order to speed up the print -- worked fine on my CR-10S.
