I made a box for my 3d printer and wanted to be able to mount spools of filament inside of it. I decided to create a bracket inspired by closet rod brackets that would hold 1 1/2" ABS plumbing pipe (actual OD is more like 1.9 inches), which happened to be a good diameter for spools of filament. Holes are sized to fit #6 screws.
