1.5 mL micro test tube, outer diameter of tub is 9.6 mm. O.D. of cap is 12.6 mm and is 8.813 mm tall. Overall height is 48.5 mm with cap on. The bottom of a small line inside denotes exactly 1.5 mL. The screws are proprietary. 9.6 mm diameter, 2.5 mm pitch, 3 revolutions, no taper. Profile is .25 mm x .5 mm. If 3d printing, print the tube right-side up, with minimal supports (the bottom of the tube will definitely need some supports). Print the cap upside-down with minimal or no supports as all. Cost is ~$.05 to print in PLA, depending on your filament. This is cheaper per tube than buying 500 commercial micro test tubes, but not cheaper than buying 5000 from most companies.Please comment if there are any changes that I can make to make this model better, e.g. O.D. size to fit centrifuges or tube racks.Enjoy!
