Military train series 4. German armored trains Panzerjäger triebwagen 51 A 1_72 scale model of a German prototype armored train. The model is for display purposes only, so the wheels do not roll, but the bogies do swivel a bit, so technically you could display this on some curved track as-well. The wheels have been measured to work with Hobbyboss 1_72 scale track, and the one i designed for the Schwerer Gustav. NOTE: the hatch on the trains top middle cupola, is just the turret hatch printed at 120% size. This model is fully designed by me, i could have used some of the existing PZ.IV turrets made by others, but for reasons of functionality, and wanting to hopefully improve some things, i designed new ones from scratch. These new turrets feature gun elevation, and a separate commanders hatch, so you can have a brave commandant pop he's head out and take a better look.
