A common problem with HP's Elitebook 2710p, 2730p and 2740p laptops is that they use an unpopular microSATA 1.8'' hard drive standard which makes them harder to upgrade. The best solution is to use an mSATA SSD with an inexpensive chinese mSATA-to-MicroSATA adapter, but there is no way to secure the drive+adapter assembly to the laptop's hard disk bay. This "caddy bracket" solves the problem. It's very easy to print and also uses very little plastic. It's designed to go around the SSD and prevent any of the electronics from touching any metal parts of the laptop chasis. I recommend printing at least two pieces (one in the front and one at the back as shown in the picture) for best results. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: MendelMax 1.5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: 0.2mm layer height works fine, there's no benefit to using anything finer. I recommend using a skirt, which can be trimmed with a boxcutter/X-Acto knife after the print is finished.
