This is something I made to hold a Monster brand LED waterproof light in a Walmart one gallon glass jar to use as a jarquarium. The LED lights are $4 at my local store and have a remote for different color settings and modes. The lights are battery operated but I soldered a USB cable in place of batteries to make it more sustainable. I am using a floating ring to allow the light to get past my floating plants. A word of warning, I only made one of these, so I can not guarantee these will work without modification or resizing for you. Unfortunately the design may not scale very well to adjust for any differences in the glass jar you have and mine. The design is fairly flexible by having a split in the ring body, it should conform fairly well. My printer may not print the same as yours but it is highly calibrated and the fitment was absolutely perfect from the first attempt with these files. You can see from the pictures which jar was used, but I will try to upload pictures of both the jar and light in packaging soon. The design does not require glue, the main outer ring attaches to the lid and the inner ring presses it outward, locking it into place on the lid. There is ample room for a USB cable below 4mm thick to route nicely through the gap as well. You do not have to use a USB cable to power the lights but I will include instructions on how to do this as well. Open the light, drill a small hole for the USB cable below the threads, in the bottom part of the light but above the PCB board. Take any old USB cable, and cut the opposite end from the male off. Strip it and cut back all but the black and red wires. Solder the red wire to the smaller positive battery post, and the black wire to the smaller negative post. Test is, then use silicone around the hole to waterproof the light again.
