1 Inch Tube or round stock Hole Template for drilling

I had to get properly placed holes drilled in some tubing so I made this. Previously, my screw (pins) were not placed right and could lead to embarrassing situations in the right social situations. Since most of my work is proof of concept I don't care what my tubes look like as long as the pinning is strong. However this helps me to replicate placement and make longitudinal lines down the tube by connecting the dots. Adolescence dejavu: Kind of like kindergarten all over again. This is for a 1" round stock or tube and has 4 holes 90° and 3 holes at 120° of course 45, 60, 180 are possible. Drilling works ok and I think I chose 3mm for the holes. I think 1/8" worked.with a little tape around the drill bit. My print must have been a little too hot and the holes got squished. Worked fine. I just made dimples for drilling elsewhere. In the picture I used an angle from a cheap level to connect the "dots". Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
