Raised hex adapter to use 1.25 Battletech sized minis on 1" hex maps/boards. The Base slots into raised platter. The base and raised base both have 4mm cutouts to embed magnets (4mm squares is what I happened to have laying around). These are optional and the base sits neatly without a magnet. Bonus: It gives a quite cool strategic holomap vibe.
