This gel comb is designed to make gels which handle up to 100 μL sample (with additional 20 μL loading dye). For Mupid® large gel casting set. ### Components 1. The main part is the comb, as a dxf file (DXF R14), which supposed to be cut from an 1.5 mm plastic sheet (the better choice is acrylic and PP) , with a laser cutter. 2. The second part is the "feet" of the comb, as a stl file, which supposed to be printed from a 3D printer. - Typically you need 2 set of M3 nut and bolt (> 8 mm) to assemble it. - Alternatively, you could shape the "feet" yourself with other materials, such as foam tape or low temperature thermoplastic, etc. 3. Acrylic is chemically stable but not physically strong, it's recommended to reinforce acrylic comb with something. Fiberglass tape for example.
