I needed a monitor stand, but I really didn't want to print the whole thing, plus I wanted something that would be adaptable for various different types of mounts. What I ended up doing was just designing a 100mm VESA adapter plate that would connect to a 1.5in PVC street elbow. I slapped together some PVC and elbows that I had floating around and got a pretty functional stand. It's just a friction fit, so I can tilt and swivel easily. (My print actually failed before it was done. The filament got bound up and snapped, but enough had finished for it to be usable.)
