10mm Potentiometer Nut Finger Tool

10mm Potentiometer Nut Finger Tool

Ever come across inset potentiometer nuts that a regular socket just won't fit into? This tool attempts to fix that problem. With a thin shaft and full through hole, it will reach down just about any inset. Also it reduces the chances of scratching faceplates. Classic cases : computer speaker potentiometers. They usually have tiny knobs and so the hole where the nut is located is also tiny. And as is usually the case, you need to remove these nuts to gain access to the internals of the speaker, or risk breaking the board or potentiometer solder pads. Designed for standard 10mm nuts. You could easily resize the tool if you have a special need case. A niche tool, but for some people, there are times when you wish someone has already made it :)
