This is actually scratch drawn but I took the inspiration from Surrbradl08's design so only fair I acknowledge the original author and their design. I wanted to mount some additional LED on the top frame of my Kossel to enable octoprint camera timelapse during hours of darkness, where the LED ring on the effector creates too much glare. Unfortunately, the original designs had the LED's at around 45 degrees to the mounting surface which cast the light of the strips outside of the print area. I needed something at a much shallower angle so created this design which casts the light down to the bed really well from the top frame of the printer, utilising an angle to the mounting surface of around 10 degrees. The best way to print these I found is to use "Vase Mode" and print the profile on its end. You can make the profile as long as you like by changing the Z scaling in the slicer to suit your needs. I made mine 21.5cm long which was a reasonable fit between the Kossels tower braces. They simply push into the 2020 extrusion slot with a satisfying clunk and are held quite firmly. I wired the two strips of 12 WS2812 elements in series with each other and then connected them in parallel with the WS2812 LED ring on the effector. This enables the 24 element ring and the two strips totalling 24 LED elements to operate synchronously from Marlin. Hope it is of use to someone out there. Feel free to give some feedback, either way and please post a make or two if you decide to use. It's always nice to seen folk enjoying use of stuff I've made.
