I've made these to fit a 10x20 drag chain to my CTC Prusa i3 DIY. [Like this one](https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00KBPQIBE/?tag=tv-auto-20) My main goals were: - to not have to print printer parts again with a chain end on them - not to lose printer space on any axis - no 'wobbely' parts It goes up to Y=189 (if I remove the top left CTC badge because it's screws are in the way). You can use as few as 20 chain elements (though one or two more won't hurt). You need 2 M3x25 or longer screws and nuts. Some things to consider: --------------------------------- This is not my proudest thing I've made. It uses __a lot__ of supports. I haven't figured out yet how to make the x-motor end in two parts and keeping it stable and wobble free. I wanted to make printed clips to hold the cables in place but that would have weakened the structure and they broke anyway as I removed the supports, so I went "meh" and used zip ties instead. Works for me. You don't have to cut any wires to get all the cables through the chain. I've made a "cable train" by lining up all the plugs and using a lot of scotch tape. Works like a charm. Pictures attached. __Remember:__ The Nema 17 motor plug is the one with 6 pins, the board plug has only 4 pins. You might want to look at that before you have to cut some wires, fiddle them through an allready packed cable chain and crimp those teeny tiny cables again to put them in the right plug. (Not that I've ever heard of someone doing something that stupid. I'm just guessing here.)
