- Built with 3 20W COB LED modules (see details in my other model)- Tube is 1/8" polycarbonate- End caps are UHMW- Center plate is aluminumDue to the high heat output of ~50W (60W of LEDs at ~15% efficiency), the aluminum block heats up quickly. The LEDs will self regulate and dim down after ~15min from this high temperature. To have sustained output, you would need to design in a decent fan and finned aluminum.
