11mm and 12mm Socket Wrench for Potentiometers and Rotary Switches

thingiverse

Little tool I designed for undoing nuts on Potentiometers (volume controls) or rotary switches, particularly if they are recessed. The handle contains a recess for the potentiometer shaft. Print with thick walls (2mm) or 100% infill for best results. Make sure your layer adhesion is up to snuff or the tool will disintegrate in short order when you try to use it (don't ask me how I know!) You can optionally push/glue small magnets (1x2mm) into the little recesses near the base. I haven't tried this, as I didn't find it necessary, but the idea is it would retain the nut (assuming a ferrous nut).
