11th doctors sonic screwdriver (no button on base) Resin print only, you're welcome to try with FDM Adapted from 'Rusty Belcher' on grabCAD link to the original files: https://grabcad.com/library/sonic-screwdriver-11th-doctor-1 The original design appeared to be only intended for rendering not printing so I have severely modified the interior and the surfacing of the design. The screwdriver assembles without adhesives and is fully capable of incorporating electronics. At present the battery holder holds 4 LR44 batteries (individual button cell ones), I am using a 30ma 5mm green led with a 110-ohm 0.5W resistor, along with a tactile switch. For the claw springs, I used pen springs that I then cut in half, I secured the claw in place with solder that I crushed at the ends crimping it in place (NO GLUE) you may need to glue the battery compartment into the tube if it does not have a friction fit in place. Print a spare copy of the claw holder it will be the part that breaks first. let me know if there are any issues
