As the description says 2-3/4" and 3" shells will fit in this box. Has a secure sliding cover. I printed in transparent yellow see through pla, works great. Recommend see-through material so you can see how many shells you have left. I made this so my shells were not going all over the box / bag on my ATV during the hunt. Keeps things tidy as well. Box is built very well, cover is thin but seems very durable. It may need a few slides back and forth initially its a fairly tight fit but it wears in nicely after a few slides back and forth and remains snug.
