12 Gauge Ammo Holder

12 Gauge Ammo Holder

thingiverse

This is an ammo belt holder for 12 gauge shotgun shells. Designed for a work colleague who regularly takes place in feral pig shooting. My design goals for this were to minimize filament usage and print time (each clip is about 9g and takes about 40 minutes), as well as being modular to suit your requirements. There are two designs included, one with linking clips so that you can string multiples together on your belt, and one without the linking clips. Each clip holds two (2) shotgun shells. ***IMPORTANT*** If you are printing the design with the linking clips, you will need to trim them back with a knife or cutters to allow them to slide into the next clip (see photo). Also when loading them onto your belt, slide them on separately, and then link them together once they are in place (do the reverse when taking them off again). Due to the anisotropic nature of FDM printing, this should only be printed vertically, otherwise it will break easily. *********************
