These are the parts required to build a 12" diameter LED pixel sphere. It uses standard "bullet" WS2811 pixels. Specifications: * 12" diameter * 8 pixels per spoke * 8 spokes total * 64 pixels total Parts to print: * 16 of 12in diameter pixel clip.stl; two are used per spoke. * Two of 12in sphere support - body.stl * Two of 12in sphere support - clamp.stl Other things needed: * 1/8" steel rods. I recommend buying stainless steel rods; I got them from onlinemetals.com and they bent very well and will be corrosion resistant. * Rustoleum black spray paint; I painted the rods black before using them; the tolerances of the STL assumes they're painted. * 1/2" EMT conduit * #6 x 32 machine screws and nuts; these are used to clamp the "clamp" part onto the body. * Planetary ring roller; I got a cheap one from harbor freight. It's more than good enough to radius the spokes of the sphere. You assemble by SLIDING the pixel clips on to the rods. They WILL NOT clip on from the open slot; that's only there to help air out the clip and prevent water from sitting in there. Why four pixels per clip? This fits on an Ender 3 v2 and Prusa I3 MK3S bed no problem. It also has the advantage of the clips having a large radius which means they align themselves properly when the rods are slotted in. No twisting the clips around to orient the pixels.
