This part helps building an extractor hood to handle 3D printer fumes. It enables attaching an exhaust duct used for home mechanical ventilation and a computer fan. It was designed to fit with a 120mm standard PC computer fan and a 125mm diameter exhaust duct. The fan and the adapter can be placed on both side of a quick & dirty cardboard hood and attached with nuts and bolts. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: custom printer succesfully printed in PLA notes: I made large strong teeth so it is possible to firmly tight the duct to the adapter without actually breaking them, but they may be to rigid. The 4 holes in this part have the same size as the holes found on my fan. There were not designed to match a particular screw size. Screw nuts will are likely to be required. Post-Printing
