This is an adapter/housing for the 12864 LCD panel that is used in combination with an update for the Anet A8 to Ramps or equivalent and the use of the 12864 LCD panel. Be sure it is the one with the knob under the display (also known as the Reprap Discount Full Graphic Smart Controller) and not aside. It is a very tight version. Be aware that this version decreases the Z-space to 225 mm. This is because in my situation it is combined with the Z-axis ball bearing that already reduces the Z-space. Be sure to limit your Z-axis to 225 mm in Marlin to avoid collision with the upper frame. At the back side there is a opening for the LCD connectors. This is also pretty narrow, but this is because I removed the black housing from the connectors on the LCD back side. This is because the connector housing is fit 180 degrees wrong. Search the internet for more information on this issue. To assemble the housing and LCD you may need to grind the notches a little depending on the accuracy of your printer. Than you can assemble it with 4 pieces M3 x 18 countersunk screws. For the mounting over the hole that comes from the original LCD use 4 pieces M3 screws and nuts. Print the housing with the front side to the bottom and the back side with the notches upwards. No support needed and infill 30% or more. Printing speed may be 60 mm. Printed with PLA. For the knob you can use any fitting knob you wish or find one whithin Thingiverse.
