This is a 12 ounce can dispenser for your refrigerator. It is designed to fit six standard US 12 ounce cans. This will take a little more than a day to print.

Simply insert the cans on the top shelf, and then remove a can from the bottom. Not much to explain!

I designed this to fit standard 12 ounce US beer or pop cans. I have not tested how this works with 330ml cans found elsewhere.

As with most of my prints, I designed this for myself but felt that others could find it useful. The original design was two parts but I thought that it would be better to print as a single print. This made for some design challenges because I did not want to use supports. It also needed to fit the Prusa MK2, MK3, MK3s, etc.

But after spending some time in Fusion 360 I finally got the design to to be one part, fit on a Prusa, and not require supports.

The holes on all the sides have been carefully designed. They help reduce the amount of material used, but placed carefully to add stability while printing but not interfering with functionality.

Additionally, the middle shelf was the most difficult area to design because one of my design goals was to avoid supports, but still allow the cans to fall properly to the lower level. The shape was very carefully designed to allow the cans to fall freely. I had to print several of these until it was perfect.

While this print will take more than 24 hours to print, you can think of it as next day delivery for about $8.00. Not too bad if you think of it this way! I mean, 3D printers are great, but how many superhero statues do you need? Might as well use your printer for something useful.

The first image is a render in Cinema4D with the Arnold renderer, the next two images are photos of an actual print (printed in Prusament PLA Gentleman's Grey,) and the third image is a render in Fusion360 showing the proper orientation for printing.

Print instructions

The print is properly oriented for printing, DO NOT CHANGE THE ORIENTATION. Use 2 parameters, at least 5 top and bottom layers, 0.2 layer height, and an infill of 10% is recommended. No supports are needed. PLA or PETG are recommended. Since this is a large print you will need to make sure your print surface is clean and you have a good first layer.

This will take about one day and six hours to print on a Prusa MK3s and use about 280g of filament. Finally, this will use the full Z hight of a Prusa MK3/s/+ so please make sure you are using the standard spool holder and have nothing that will get in the way of the X carriage! This will also print fine on an Ender 3, CR10 size printers and others. (I also printed a few on my FLSUN QQS Pro.)

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve this print. Good luck!
