I had a separate meter and 12 cigar lighter socket I was using as a battery/solar panel tester and dummy load. So I decided to combine them. This thing has 44 snapping nubs arranged in two rows around the perimeter. I reinforced the connecting shell and lid corners, and reduced the depth of the snapping nubs after the first one cracked when being snapped in place. After reinforcement the new lid snapped in place with a firm knock. It is NEVAR coming off without breaking the case.
