I printed it with the flat face against the build plate and then used tree supports in Cura. Mounting this to a surface requires M5 hardware, and the four M5 nuts are designed to be captive within the print. For that to work, edit your g-code to pause the print just as the nut holes are complete then press in the four M5 nuts before resuming the print. The nuts should be a tight, friction fit and no adhesive is needed.
