On the basis of the 6.5 ccm engine I "just for fun" decided to create a 180°-V-twin. O.k., the crankshaft is a little thin but all the rest should work more or less... It is the same Burt-McCollum sleeve valve design as the 6.5 ccm, also the same 2 in / 2 out port layout. Piston 2 follows piston 1 with an angle of 180° (in terms of crancshaft turn). Port opening times are also the same as on the single, both intake and exhaust port open 10° in advance of the crankshaft position, intake opening occurs at the same time as exhaust closure. (at least this was the plan...)
