Via a serial connection also with: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU etc. via a serial connection! The rest should be self-explanatory. I bought the board at this Ebay dealer and got the J version despite other pictures in the offer (write a short note and ask questions before you buy/he was currently the cheapest board here in DE).
