Quick and easy solution to hang your filament on the wall. Can run directly in to printer from the dowel. Not ideal as it will naturally absorb water (compared to being sealed in an air-tight container), but it's quite a good looking solution if you don't have the space for a large container. There are obviously other uses outside of using this for holding filament - tapes etc. 14mm dowel - readily available from B&Q in the UK. Cut dowel to length.
