"Project Sparkie" is basically a culmination of all the design improvements I made along the way while creating my previous designs the "dji spark clone" and "Sparkie" quadcopters. I took all the beneficial modifications I made to each of these previous designs and balled them all together with new improvements to creat "Project Sparkie" please forgive the seeming self satisfaction but It was an effort I am particularly pleased with. the results are a 150mm frame build which offers excellent stability and acro capabilities, coupled with its alarming speed and power its become my favourite creation to date, its an absolute pleasure to fly and so far proven very durable. the frame itself can accommodate a varied selection of electronics so can be tailored to the builder specifications to a certain degree, Its mounts are spec'ed for 36x36mm sized FC's and can be stacked with a 4in1 esc, it can also accommodate 4x separate esc with careful wiring if the builder prefers. motors can range from anything as small as 14's all the way upto 22's and are all tilted toward the frames COG which adds to the designs overall stability. It can use 5" props with minor tip trimming, alternatively it functions excellently with 4" tri's (which is what I use) The camera is a TX03 Eachine AIO with its clover removed and replaced with a whip antenna. battery of choice can vary also and would depend on the builders choices, as it stands though my own can use anything from a small 850mah 3s all the way upto a 2200 4s in size, the design has proven very versatile in lipo options. A basic lipo alarm is also included internally with the connection routed to a plug on the lower plate (see above pictures), not an essential item obviously but handy to have when you get carried away and dont hear your timer going off. I could continue to list countless variations but the list would get ridiculas so Ill just state my own current build spec's: Turnigy 2208 2600kv motors Afro 20amp AIO cc3d fc&esc board Tx03 AIO cam Flysky x6b RX Daldrop indestructables 4045 tri's 3s lipo alarm (also internal) Lower plate reinforced with a 0.5mm Carbon fibre plate (purely optional and more for looks than anything lol) Im also including a alternative internal mounting board design for use with Naze32 Rev5, Rev6 and CC3d atom Fc's, the latter is decased and clamped in position (please see above pictures for reference), this board is designed to better accommodate the use of more common 4in1 escs stacked beneath the fc (as appose to the AIO Afro board used in my own version of this frame) I can confirm the use of alternative board is good as Ive test fitted it with various fc's and Im currently build a second frame using a cc3d atom (see final picture), Ill add completed frame pictures at a later date.
