For those who like to display militaria, this is a BIG one. The official name is 155 mm Extended Range Full Bore Base Bleed. The boat tail designs of most shells have a slight drawback, where the rear of the shell creates an area of negative pressure, which creates drag, thus limiting the range of the shell. Engineers redesigned the rear of the shell to house ignitable chemicals which fill the negative pressure void and considerably reduce the drag, dramatically increasing the range, with a slight decease in explosive potential due less volume being taken up with stuff that goes "boom". If you want to create a coin bank, cut a piece of plastic to insert into the base, otherwise leave it open for hiding a bottle. This also can be converted into the ultimate coin bank that can take the biggest coins. But who uses coins anymore? Great to hide bottle of liquor. Warning....Due to the size of this, it will take a LONG time to print. But it's worth it. A big military conversation piece.
