I recently broke one of the hand grip 15mm rail adapters on my DSLR rig, before I spent $60 on a replacement I thought I'd see if I could print out a replacement. I also added a cold shoe adapter to the top of the hand grip. This makes it easy to add a shock mount, LED light, or any other random film gear to the top of the handle. I designed this around the left over parts from my original handle which used 1/4 20 square nuts and thumb screws. Square nuts are kind of hard to come by so you might want to modify this to use hexagon shaped nuts instead. The design is just small enough to fit on a TOM heated build platform (105mm), be sure to turn the outline plugin off. Over all the design feels very solid but I might add a little more plastic to the thumb nut area, unfortunately this would make it to large of an object to be printed on the HBP. So I'll probably end up printing the updated version on my Reprap. Update: The file labeled V2 has more plastic around the rail clamps and is to large to be printed on the TOM. The picture of version 2 has a green background and was printed on the Makergear Prusa.
