This is a guide for drilling 1/4" pegs for wood joining. the holes are 1" apart so 3/4" between. I don't know what is typical as I just guessed. I added toleraces to the parts and think it should work as is. It requires on 6-32 screw and bolt for the endstop. I suggest putting the pegs in and glueing from the bottom. this will hold them in place and allow for movement.
