18mm Capacitive sensor mount for Hictop 3DP17

I love my Hictop printer but the standard aluminium bed is useless, It's not flat whether it's hot or cold. The inductive sensor won't work on glass and getting a longer range one to detect the bed through the glass simply means the head will level against the bed not the glass. This mount enables a standard 18mm capacitive sensor to be used in place of the inductive one. You will need to drill out the mounting holes in the bearing carrier to 3.5mm then thread the holes in the bearing block with an M4 tap. Mount the bracket using M4 x 8mm cap head bolts The sensor is then a simple push fit through mount. I have the lower threads on the sensor just inside the lower hoop so when the print nozzle is touching the build plate the sensor is a few mm from the bed.
