This round, wooden butter print is featured as part of the artifact collections held by the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh, North Carolina. According to the museum staff, Scottish immigrants carried this handmade print with them to North Carolina sometime in the eighteenth century. The design on the bottom of the print appears to be that of a tobacco leaf. For further historical interpretation, see here: http://susannalee.org/dh/2014/11/04/butterprint/
