A decent hand measured model of a 1944 Colt M1911A1. All that was used in the making, was the gun, a caliper, and Solidworks. Unfortunately, some of the fine details are inaccurate due to stubborn parts, and the age of the gun preventing me from measuring around tight corners. And this isn't the same as the one on the "Redux" schematic that's been floating around. Serial numbers are accurate, reference photos and several renders included. Exported in Solidworks, IGES, and OBJ. Rendered in Keyshot. This is an overhaul of my last model, with all parts present and increased accuracy. Please feel free to use this model in any projects, all I ask is that you credit me for it's creation.
