The Jaguar XJ is the name of a series of full-size luxury cars sold by the British automobile brand, Jaguar Cars since 1968. Since 1970 they have been Jaguar's flagship. From April 1979, the XJ was facelifted again, and was known as the Series III. Externally, the most obvious changes over the Series II were the thicker and more incorporated rubber bumpers with decorative chrome only on the top edge, flush door handles for increased safety, a one-piece front door glass without a separate 1/4 light, a grille with only vertical vanes, reverse lights moved from the boot plinth to the larger rear light clusters and a revised roofline with narrower door frames and increased glass area. In total between 1968 and 1992 there were around 318,000 XJ6 and XJ12 Jaguars produced. This digital model is based on the 1989 version of the Jaguar XJ-6. Product Features: Approx 21,362 polygons. Made entirely with 3 and 4 point polygons. Does not have an interior cabin, so we recommend darkening the windows. Because of this, the doors are not separate parts. Includes group information, which your software should interpret as separate parts, which includes: -- All 4 wheels -- (The doors are not a separate part.) Although the model includes these parts, this version of the model is not rigged. Includes logically named materials, such as BodyMetal, Tires, Headlight Glass, and more. This makes it very easy to recolor the model. This version includes an mtl file, which your software program should read to colorize the model. The model has basic UV mapping and NO textures are included. You'll need to apply your own shaders, such as metal and fabric.
