19mm Wheel Spike

19mm Wheel Spike

Decided to jazz up my 4x4 and print myself out some cool wheel spikes, but then I thought "Nah, the cops around here may not like that take on things, they generally don't like things on cars that are cool for the sake of being cool" So I then added in the pointer tab to the spikes to allow for alignment of wheel nuts, just print them in a bright and obvious colour, that way they can comply with whatever OHS/WHS/OSHA regulations where you are where it defined a colour, be that red or yellow or bright blue, that's up to you to find out. This way you can see at a glance if your wheel nuts are loose, and still keep the cool factor of having wheel spikes on your car. The basic spike has a single 19mm hex, but the pointer spike has a dual 19mm hex, this is so that if your wheel nuts are not perfectly in line with each other, the stud can be made in line with the others, or as close as possible. I've also included a version with supports if you're not using a decent slicer like Cura, the tree supports should print fine, generated with Meshmixer
