This is the first instalment of a series of prints to be posted on my website culminating in a fully ride-able trike in a couple of months. This is designed to print easily on a Rep Rap style FDM 3d printer. Printed at 80 percent fill, including printed breakaway supports, it uses 1 kg of ABS. If you have the Makerbot 2kg spools of ABS, you may print this at 100 percent fill with 1.25 kg of ABS. Alternately, you may use file negative6.stl to print soluble supports for zero clean-up if you have a dual extruder machine such as a Replicator 1.
